One of three colourways of this fab faux boro Japanese print, this cotton fabric would be great for combining with sashiko, boro, or any patchwork project. The largest patches are around 3in (7.6cm).
 
Red background, with russet red, golden brown and cream in the patches. The red leans towards tomato red - it would be a nice coorinate for Azumino cotton #17 or Kofu Tsumugi #2002 brick red, plus the limited edition brick red version of my 2019 kamon crest panel. The weight of the fabric is similar to the Kofu Tsumugi of course - the Azumino cotton is a little thicker, but I've combined it many times with patchwork weight cotton for cushion borders, sashing etc. without any problems.
