Perfect to go with all your Christmas projects, but especially nice with the QH Textiles hanafukin sashiko sampler Christmas panels in red, white or greige, or with their Seasons Greetings Christmas tree panel.

But why stop with Chrismas themed designs? This white on red check would look great all year!

Checks are approx. 1/2in square, so they make a great background for many hitomezashi (one stitch) sashiko designs, and could be used as a guide/background for stitching many larger sashiko patterns. Guess what I'm going to be playing with?
