100% cotton evenweave 'Congress cloth', specially made for kogin by Olympus Thread Mfg. Co. in Japan. Pre cut and packed in Japan. Beautiful for kogin stitching and slightly thicker than the 20 count linen kogin fabric. Available in several colours. This listing is for shade 1041, mustard, a rich, deep yellow, for 35 x 91cm (13 3/4 x 35 3/4in approx.) piece, cut across the width, which is the size I used to make the table runner in 'The Ultimate Kogin Collection'. Multiple orders will be sent as one piece, so if you order '2', it will come as a 70 x 91cm piece. If you need a different size, please contact me and I will see what I can do. I also have this available as a 45 x 50cm precut.
If you want to stitch the table runner in exactly the same threads that I used, the multicolour thread is a hand dyed four strand cotton from 21st Century Yarns - click here. I used about 2/3 of a 100g skein. The other thread is kogin thread shade #362, ice blue, and you would need three skeins.

Susan's tip - zigzag or oversew the edges of the fabric before starting to stitch, to prevent fraying.
